We've eaten here a few times. In response to our inquiry, we were told this is a family run establishment. Once or twice we have had younger teenagers in the role of waitstaff. The youngsters have been very polite and professional, pleasant, and efficient in their tasks. As is often the case here in the Azores, staff has focused on the customer at hand, giving them full attention and thus sometimes the wait to be acknowledged can be a bit longer than you might experience...
The place is clean and tidy. The food is simple but good and tasty. I wouldn't recommend the desserts but the service was very friendly overall and attentive to people with crutches. I would recommend this place for a lunch or an improvised dinner.
