Everything is bad experience here!! First, waitress is not smart. I paid the bill and she gave to the receipt to my partner. What is this?? Second, we ordered homemade bread but they charged us per person so it was 2. Bread was chopped so smaller and some of them are like someone’s left over. Not even cut by knife. My partner said he felt the same way. Olive and butter was good. Cheese is so small and expensive. Main dish for spare rib is no seasoning at all!! Just grilled. I have to put salt myself. Meat and veggies are so hard… my partner’s chicken was good. Small beer €4.0, glass of white wine €3.50 very expensive. Taste was not good at all. Restaurant close at 21:30 but they turn off one of AC 20:30, so many flies always around the place, always near our drink and bread….Spend 35€ for feel so bad!! I do not recommend this place for anyone. I’m really disappointed we choose this restaurant. Education to the waiters are very important. Give to the receipt who pay the bill!!!! Not to other people!!! Do something about flies!! Season the food properly!!! Do not charge the bread per person!!! Never heard it!! If this restaurant keep doing this they will lose a lot of customers. We are from Lisbon but we have a lot of friends and families in Lagoa so this was very disappointed experience. Not recommended at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O Casarão…. Very old family restaurant, I think 4 generations now! The dishes have adapted beautifully to the times. The atmosphere has become much more relaxed and the plates are fantastic as ever. The chicken is grilled to perfection. Meat steaks everything on the menu is prepared with absolute professionalism and love. The waiters are quick to oblige, the kitchen is unprofessional, high praise. The food is always fantastic. Thank you very much for the great hospitality. Family run restaurant, service was good, booked in via Google service, ate inside the restaurant. Compact menu that meets most people's tastes. Serving cold cooked carrots as part of the Courvert (?) Must be a Portuguese thing! No complaints from us though. Enjoyed the experience. Thanks.
Whether it's fish (tuna steak, in photo) or chicken, even the small starter... Go for it! Don't hesitate to take the "cover": olives, bread, tuna rillettes, garlic butter, carrots with cumin... It was so good And what's more, the servers are friendly. Great address!
