Incredible food, both the fish (fresh) and the meat (juicy). A marvel. The atmosphere was very good and the staff were very attentive. The price was acceptable for the quantity and quality of the dishes. By the way, the dessert (fig cheese) brought back old memories of my childhood when my grandmother made such a delicacy. It's really a shame. The food is very good. The belly is ok but the sardines are really good.
But the service was so bad that it is very difficult to recommend. We stayed outside and it was a constant struggle for someone to serve us, sometimes the fish would come and then there would be no side dishes. The experience could have been good but it wasn't. Maybe if we stayed inside it would have been different.

Don't judge a book by its cover! Here you are guaranteed to have the best fish in town, large portions, the friendliest service and of course a great wine list. Thank God that something like this still exists today, which was one of the reasons to travel to Portugal 40 years ago! Reservations are advisable, as you are guaranteed good sun and wind protection inside. The atmosphere has something of an old cowboy film in an abandoned town. From the outside, outside opening hours, you wouldn't believe that a fantastic dining experience awaits you here, it looks completely deserted. The restaurant awakens from its slumber during opening hours. I ate the best fish here on this vacation. You should be hungry if you also order starters (which are delicious), as there are also good and many side dishes for the main course: for example, the monkfish skewer has potatoes, vegetables and salad and the grilled sea bream has potatoes and a tomato salad. Next time we'll try dessert instead of starter. Thank you for a wonderful evening with the finest fish and wine at unbeatable prices and quick and friendly service! Of course we will be back!
