Our favorite frango assado in Lagos. The chicken is always fresh and juicy. It’s ran by a hardworking couple that are both there lunch and dinner 5 days a week. It’s a local favorite and off the beaten track. We live a few minutes away and get frango from them at least once a week!

It was a bad choice! We almost distryed our night.. We ordered a Sangria (it was supposed to be a 1L, but they brought us a cap full of ice and fruits and just 2 glasses of Sangria). When we told to the lady that is not 1L she was very offended about it, like we were missbehaved there. Then she brought us another half a liter. We also orderd a traditional portuguese food that was supposed to be with duck meat, but it wasn’t. My boyfriend orderd ribs and that was the most meatless ribs we have ever seen. The prices were not so high, but I thing that in general this restaurant is not a good choice.

GO here....I walked 20 mins out of the center in the rain twice in two days to eat here...it's run by a very sweet Portugese family in a neighborhood that get's no tourists....MOST of the places in lagos centre these days are only aimed at tourists....this is the opposite....and authentic...Very generous lamb portions and chicken was great!

We ordered take away from here. €16 for a portion of chips, a salad that had no dressing on it, a can of ice tea and an arroz doce dessert. Having lived here for 12 years, it’s fair to say we won’t be coming back here again

Very good food. The country chicken is excellent, the feijoada de buzios and the roast cod are the best.
We went to dine here and the service was disappointing. The lady who served us was unfriendly and it looked like we were doing her a favour. The food was alright. Overall we felt it was overpriced for what it was.

I gave it the opportunity and I was surprised at how well we have eaten, and how well the staff treated us. It's like a steakhouse, it has few dishes, meat or fish, but we chose barbecue for 2 px, and we ended up shooting. We paid for the barbecue, 3 cokes, bread and coffee €36.50. Good price and good food.
