We chose this restaurant in the middle of August while we were looking for something to eat late, together with 2 9 year old children. There were lots of people everywhere and queues in some restaurants. We ended up waiting for this one because of the inviting appearance of the food and the atmosphere. And without a doubt it was a great choice. Impeccable staff despite it being 10pm, the huge turnout and table turnover. They were very friendly and available. Good and varied food for all tastes and suitable prices. We look forward to returning next time we visit the Algarve. Thank you for making our night better when we already had 2 impatient kids. They also ask to come back ☺️

We went here twice, and despite being a very busy place (arrive early and reserve a seat!) the waiter remembered us. The service was great and all staff went the extra mile to make you feel welcomed and appreciated.
The food held the same level, providing stellar petiscos. The price range was surprisingly affordable for the quality of the food, service level, location and popularity. It is not for nothing that it is filled with people from opening to close.
The sautéed mushrooms, codfish patties and the duck were clear highlights of the two nights.

Tired of looking for a place to have something informal in the tourist historic center of Lagos (too many places that don't exactly inspire confidence), we found this place with a modern atmosphere of traditional Portuguese tapas that partially restored our enthusiasm. Very friendly and efficient young service; They also spoke Spanish quite well. We had for three: 2xbacalhau a bras (the best), Poldo a moda do tasca, chourico assado no barra and lizard with molho de Madeira (somewhat dry). All accompanied by two beers and water. The octopus and cod stand out. All for €50.75. We wouldn't mind returning.
