From the moment we sat down, we felt unwanted. Following this, we received our food which was nothing short of terrible. Our sever was extremely rude and was not attentive or receptive to our needs as customers. If you’re looking for a nice meal, you may select elsewhere.

Friendly staff, and very clean kitchen. No real dishes for children. The prawns we had, weren’t cleaned. So they were full of sh*t, which is disgusting.

The first and last time eating here, we've been coming to Lagos once or twice a year 17 years. This is the first time that I felt ripped off. Food was great and as usual too much so we asked to take the leftovers away. We got the bill which seemed a bit expensive, 3 beers, half bottle of white wine, couvers and 2 mains. I asked them to check and I was told by the owner it was correct but she wouldn't give me an actual breakdown but had charged me for taking away the leftovers!!! Never again will I be eating there and would advise others to look elsewhere, there are plenty of great, cheaper eateries very close so take your pick but don't pick this one.

This is the slowest service of all time. The waiter Pedro is interesting but getting the food was impossible. The food was okay but the waiters were funny and kind.Bill for 4 people is 113 eur.If you have time and you like home made food that issimple you can try it.

The service wasn't good too long and we asked for the bread 2 times before we get it. The salad was so basic no vinegar or mayonnaise sardines wasn't clean just don't eat there very

Mind the fish bone! Customers should have been warned when ordering a fish stew. I found some tiny bones in the not-tasted-fresh fish meat in my fish stew. Luckily my young son had a pork steak instead; otherwise he could have ended up in the local A&E. The service was slow but if you are not in a hurry it would be fine. The food was okay except my fish stew and the portion of all our dishes were small. I found all the diners were tourists when we were having our lunch, which made me think that the restaurant owner might not care about these no-return customers' dining experience. For me, it's definitely the worst dining experience during our visit in Algarve.

BEWARE OF FISH BONES. Served our meal as a shared plate, despite ordering two individual meals. They asked us how the meal was and when I said it was alright, the server said I was complaining. Guess she didn't want to know how it was! Not worth the price charged.

We had heard a lot about this place and finally decided to try it. It is typical Portuguese food, especially for this area of Lagos. The portions are very small for the price, especially the octopus rice. There seems to be very little seafood in the dishes. It was tasty enough but nothing incredible. Personally, I preferred the porco à alentejana at another restaurant a few doors down on the same street. Also, there may have been only a handful of clams.Surprisingly, the fries are hands down the absolute best I've had in Portugal so far. Just like chip trucks in Canada. Super tasty and superbly cooked.Service was perfunctory but not particularly warm, and it definitely helps to order in and understand Portuguese.
