Hidden garden was so lovely and perfect, so glad we discovered! A true gem for outstanding seafood and a calm family experience. Amazing food, Amazing service, Amazing atmosphere! Owners are so lovely and thoughtful, they truly go out of their way to make the experience perfect. Had to come back again because we loved it so much! Truly do not understand how it’s not rated 5 stars.
such a wonderful restaurant! the seafood was so fresh, the lemon garlic olive oil sauce with it was so delicious, and service was fantastic. Daniela was so lovely to talk to, and everything is done with so much care and detail. It was a bit of a chilly night and they had a blanket at each seat which we found so thoughtful! We found this restaurant walking around town and we had to come back for a second time for our last dinner in lagos!

Wanted to get two sangrias. I read the review about the people that were hassled to pay cash after the meal.
I asked our waiter if they accept credit cards. She said no so we got up to leave. She then said she would accept our credit card if we ordered €40 or more.
I’m just not willing to participate in their tax avoidance scam and having to go to private ATMs in the area on a regular basis and pay ATM fees to support tax cheating.
Found a nicer place, Olavasrio just around the corner. No credit card scam nice sangria.

The atmosphere was great! However, the food wasn’t great. I had octopus which tasted mushy and didn't feel fresh at all. We have been traveling for 2 weeks, and this was the first restaurant where the octopus didn't taste as fresh as it should. Also, the chicken piri-piri was the worst. The rice, which they charge an extra €5 for, was also not worth the price. We've had better food at other restaurants just a few steps away. Not worth it here.

I went with my family and enjoyed our time there, there was seating outside and a hidden patio inside that was great since it was chilly and windy, the TV in the back patio was perfect for watching the Eurocup and Daniela’s service was really friendly and welcoming, making sure we were always okay and enjoying our time. Food was good, they have fresh Dorada Fish, Lamb chops were amazing but a bit on the smaller side, Chicken Pinnaple Fillet was well seasoned and not dry.

We were there spontaneously. The food was excellent. Very nice and uncomplicated operation. We cannot understand the rather poor rating. All the food, including at the neighboring tables, looked excellent. Even though it was very busy, the food came very quickly. At the end, a schnapps on the house. It was also very tasty. Lots of fresh fish! There was also something from the counter. Dessert was also delicious.

Pretty little restaurant, very nicely decorated, very pleasant staff. The Portuguese beef ? I loved the sauce was succulent the cooking of the steak was perfect the fried potatoes ❤️, I count it in my top 2 of my favorite dishes tasted in Portugal. The Algarve tart was very good too!
