The smoothies were essentially just juice. They tasted like they poured tablespoons of sugar into them - they were intolerably sweet. The coffee was weak and tasted like Earl Grey tea. We asked for our things to go and it took 25 minutes. Really confused by the high reviews.

A lovingly run café with a good selection of drinks and snacks. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the interior invites you to linger.
Nice atmosphere, but food took 40mins to come out (only a basic toastie), they got my order wrong (added onion when I didn’t ask for onion) and then charged me extra for the onion. To their merit, they offered us free water for the wait - but too many issues to give a better score. The cherry on top was asking for a tip when paying by card

The staff is great and the owner is very nice. The food and the drinks are just lovely. In my table we had the lemon cheesecake, cheesy scones, liqueur coffee with Jameson (delicious), two spicy mango margaritas (amazing), boozy affogato (lively), red wine (smooth) and everything was great! The place is small but cozy and cute, the terrace is right on a narrow beautiful typical portuguese street in the old town. It's the only openly lgbtqi+ friendly place in Lagos that i know., not that makes much of a difference since i have seen of sort of people stoping by to drink and eat. Well done!
