Loved this place! Great food, had to wait a while for a table but that was expected. Service was good, waiters where friendly, fast and helpful. Recommend to eat here!

Good tapas restaurant in Lagos. We ordered the coriander rice, roasted octopus and garlic prawns and the peanut butter cheesecake for dessert which were all pretty good. The only downfall was that it was quite pricey for the 4 items we ordered. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good as well.

An excellent restaurant that stands out from neighboring canteens. The cuisine is delicious and sophisticated. Both the tapas and the dishes are very tasty, with a special mention for the tuna tartare and octopus. The servers are very friendly and attentive. The only downside is that it is not possible to reserve and as the restaurant is a victim of its own success, you have to expect a bit of a wait to get a table, or choose a time slot that is not very busy. But it's worth it!

Tasty food ruined by bad service.

We ordered two different varieties of white wine, only one arrived so asked for clarification on which one had arrived so we could rectify their mistake by ordering the second. We’re met with condescension from the servers even though their colleague had only stated ‘white wine’ when they placed it on the table despite us ordering a sav blanc specifically.

Secondly we ordered the octopus main dish, it arrived and was not to our taste (the texture and temperature was a bit off) and we didn’t want to eat it. Told a server and then the manager came back and strong armed us into agreeing that the food was perfect and we were completely in the wrong for having different taste to him.

We agreed to leave the dish on the bill but ordered extra tapas dishes as we were still hungry. They didn’t arrive, so we ordered them again. They still didn’t arrive and so we requested the bill.

When the bill arrived, we waited 10 minutes to pay. The manager again arrived at the table and asked if we were happy. We were not, and told him as much. We found his attitude to be rude and intense, the whole service style was incredibly condescending. And again he told us that he was actually very polite and we were wrong, pressured us into accepting a round of limoncello as a goodwill gesture. Ultimately we accepted and he bought one glass out. We were a table of 6.

Meanwhile, the staff were shouting and swearing at each other next to the bar the whole time we were trying to eat the dishes we actually received.

The whole experience was farcical and left us feeling hungry and stressed. The food was delicious but training on customer service is needed ASAP.

What an experience! The food is fantastic! The beetroot tartare and the tuna tatami are worth trying. Juao, our server, was funny and attentive, he interacted a lot with the kids and they loved it. There were 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 children aged 9 and 12. Small note: book in advance! An experience to start again.

Nice little discovery in the middle of a multitude of tourist restaurants.
The Mimar wine and tapas bar stands out from the others for its fusion cuisine and the quality of its dishes.
The tapas are generous and varied, the bread is delicious and the products very fresh.
The service is pleasant, but sometimes a little slow.
I recommend the ceviche, beetroot tartare and octopus.
We also tried the bacalau, but remained a little perplexed, the cod for my taste was still a little salty and the chorizo non-existent.
Small downside, the water is served in reusable glass bottles, that’s very good, but at room temperature ☹️
Don’t hesitate and treat yourself by trying it.

The best place to eat in Lagos. The service is very good, with very friendly and attentive waiters. The food is beyond what you usually see in this town and it couldn't be better, you can go for tapas or eat a main course. We decided on three tapas (2 of them vegetarian) and we were absolutely right. To accompany dinner we tried the house white wine and, to top it off, a dessert that was to die for. 100% recommendable

Vegetarian options: We tried two tapas: the first was a beet tartare and the second was breaded brie cheese

I took Piri Piri chicken and wine, and also cheesecake. The cheesecake was average, they cooked the chicken with the skin on and it turned out very oily. Portions are small and expensive. But it was Sunday, not much was working, so there were a lot of people, everyone around was talking very loudly. Wine from Malaga, very dry, it hurt my cheekbones. The staff is polite.
