More than an hour to be served. The starter was put out quickly and then they forgot about us. When the food arrived we weren't even hungry anymore. Also very hot in the dining room. Then they fixed it up a bit by inviting us to dessert and coffee. Grateful, but the anger was not taken away from us.

Would not recommend this restaurant unfortunately. Seven of us were all disappointed with the food. Would strongly suggest not ordering the bolognese or cataplana. The portuguese pork dish was mainly flavoured with vinegar. Staff were lovely and great views but the food was not.

One of the few places to eat near Canavial Beach. Beautiful view, there is a good parking area nearby. The menu is not particularly varied, mostly fast food, prices are average. I would like more seafood cuisine, since the place is near the beach and ocean. The waiters are not very efficient, they forgot about the clients. We had to wait quite a long time for the bill, so we ended up reminding the staff about ourselves.

I arrived at the restaurant at 8:45 pm and was refused a table because they said it was by appointment only. I was surprised why there were no people, oh wait, I even asked how long I could stay oh wait and was immediately told that they were no longer serving. I understood if I heard a lot of movement, but that wasn't the case. I repeat, not one person was there ah wait. We were just 4 people. 2 adults and 2 children. From my side, I give a negative rating and I don't recommend it.

We ate at O António whilst on a little break in Lagos. We tried a walk in on the first day to find out they were fully booked, so reserved a table for the following evening instead.
The kids had a steak and my partner and I had fish and it was all very tasty. Recommend the monk fish kebabs!

You should definitely want to eat fish, then the rating might be better? The selection of fish is huge. There were four of us eating here, but no one wanted fish. Then things got difficult. There is no salad as a main course. Almost all of the dishes are very expensive. The service seems incredibly bored and annoyed. The ambience is mediocre, it's loud. A little tip: in the restaurant opposite there is a more diverse selection, better service and a nicer ambience and the same great view. MUST reserve a table in both restaurants!

Unbeatable view, slow service, patronizing tourists. The locals at the next table were looked after excellently I rarely write reviews, but here we would be ripped off. Money was added to both main courses. Mussels with garlic instead of €16.80, for example €24.80. So be careful....
