The best restaurant of our vacation. The service and food are of excellent quality. I recommend that you ask the waiters for advice, they know the product and know how to interpret customer tastes. A mandatory stop.
I've been living in Lagos for over a year. I've visited various restaurants and cafes here, and O Mexilhão is my absolute favorite! Whenever I go to other restaurants, I compare them to O Mexilhão, and always, O Mexilhão comes out on top.

Such a great find! The staff are super friendly and have a great sense of humour. The food here is exceptional and a welcome break away from the uber-touristy restaurants that are rife in this area. Mussels Mediterranea are to die for (make sure you ask for some bread to take advantage of the delicious sauce). Garlic prawns were fresh and delicious, as was the bream. Do yourself a favour and dine here, you won’t regret it.
