Fresh and authentic cuisine. After trying our luck at a restaurant around the corner and unfortunately not getting a table, we asked the owner where he would like to eat. He recommended the Reis restaurant to us - the five of us just managed to get the last table. By 8 p.m. all the tables, inside and outside, were full and the line was getting longer and longer. Rightly so: there is fresh cataplana with plenty of excellent quality shrimp and mussels, and the rice stew with swordfish...
It's always a challenge to find a restaurant with well-prepared and honest dishes, the Reis restaurant was a beautiful surprise. We ordered prawn and clam rice which was delicious, as was the pudding for dessert. Of particular note is the friendliness of the entire staff, we will certainly be back!
Restaurant located in the historic center of Lagos, in a street very popular with people walking in the evening.
The cataplana (very similar to typical Adriatic broths) with clams, prawns, pork and boiled vegetables is exquisite. The quality of the fish was excellent and the seasoning perfect to make everything tasty.
Impeccable service and the waiter Matheus deserves a special mention.
