Avoid this restaurant. I went with my family. We had the menu de dia and all 3 meals were bad. The soup to start was OK but it went downhill from there. Both my wife and my daughter did not finish the food. Normally waiters will ask what is wrong, not here though. The waiter just cleaned the table. For dessert there was no choice just one option of fruit cocktail which tasted like it came out of a can. This is not Portuguese food and gives a very bad impression of the food in the Algarve

During the holiday period, we went to the Casa Baía restaurant, for dinner there were 6 people and the experience could not have been better. I highlight an old house where quality is present in every delicacy that arrives at the table. We were well served and with all the cordiality of the staff, and in the end after eating well, starters, meals and desserts, the price we paid also pleasantly surprised us. The magic of a picturesque restaurant to watch the Euro Cup final. We ventured with my friends to a place that, if it were a movie, would be one of those horror movies but with a happy ending.
Upon arrival, the place did not impress us. It was as if someone had decided to make a combination between a school cafeteria and a dentist's waiting room. But the hope of seeing the Euro final on the big screen kept us firm and brave. Without looking at the menu or the comments, we took our seats, like good culinary adventurers.
They welcomed us with a tray of cheeses and hams, a death trap for the pocket. You imagine? Every bite of that invisible delicacy was an unannounced extra expense. But oh, anonymous hero! The owner of the place intervened and saved us, sending his henchman, the waiter, with some olives in his place. Thank you, dear owner, for your olives of redemption.
We launched into the “tourist” menu, which is a kind of gastronomic Russian roulette. The trick is in the drinks, because they are not included and cost as if they were dipped in gold. We ordered a fried fish that, at first glance, promised to take us to the shores of the Mediterranean. However, one of my friends, who became a frequent traveler to the bathroom that night, surely has a different opinion.
