The venue is conveniently located and attracts a diverse clientele, including both locals and tourists. The food is pretty good and the service is fast. However, the staff do not speak English and, as is the case throughout Lagos, you cannot pay with a credit card; you have to pay in cash (they did not issue a receipt). The grilled sardines are super good.

Very nice discovery! Good Portuguese tomatoes, very fresh sardines and well served! Very very competent employees with a smile and we are offered a digestive with the bill! We recommend and we will come back!

Be careful, I order prawns and I end up with shrimp. And what's more, I'm told that it's the same thing!!! It's not very pleasant....tourist trap

Restaurant located in the Old Tawn of Lagos.

We ordered 2 Portuguese-style cod that came with potatoes and vegetables.

The first thing of all as soon as you arrive is that they offer you the typical basket of bread and on the other hand, butter, olives and cheese. If you consume it, they charge you for it (it seems polite but it is not).

The fish was good and in abundant quantity, although it is not the best we have had in Lagos during our stay; even though it was one of the house specialties.

Dinner was around 25 euros per person.

Restaurant in the Old Town of Lagos, traditional Portuguese food and fresh fish from Sagres and Ración. The fish for 2 people comes with plenty of garnishes, the fish is spectacular!!!
Generous portions....it goes well with the appetizer.
Price quality is very good.
Having many local clients, the quality and price are worth it.
If you are looking for fish, it is the best!!

Super delicious fish, I ate there twice during my vacation and can only recommend it to everyone. The salmon is awesome, as are the sardines and swordfish, and the side dishes are also great!

The ambience is quite nice, if you sit inside it can get relatively loud at peak times, but that's common in the old town.

Unfortunately, that wasn't particularly good. A few dishes were ok (Garlic Prawns, Algarve Potatoes, Sea Bream). Others were borderline (Tuna Steak, Steak Portuguese). Everything was more snack-like. Not a recommendation, especially if you want to go out in style!
