Restaurante Prato Cheio offers perfect food with large portions and a very nice interior. The staff is friendly and welcoming, offering top hospitality and excellent local and typical food. The home cooking is a real pleasure, with fabulous prawns in garlic sauce, tuna spread, olives in herbs, and sweet sangria. The family-run restaurant is welcoming to both locals and tourists. There are vegan dishes on the menu, including seitan stew and creamy mushroom tofu. Customers can also enjoy chicken in tomato sauce with vegetables with olive oil and garlic. Other dishes mentioned are espeto de lulas, swordfish, and secreto. This is a great find for good and traditional Portuguese food at a good price, away from the tourist center. The service was very pleasant and the food was delicious. It is a lovely Portuguese restaurant with a nice homely feel.
