Restaurant dedicated to tourists, THEY DON’T SPEAK PORTUGUESE ?
We chose Vegan Rendang and Vegetable Salad. The flavors are interesting and pleasant, if it weren't for the excess of cabbage, raw in the salad and almost raw in the Rendang, which is one of the bases of these two dishes ?♂️ In my opinion, these dishes were ruined as raw cabbage is extremely difficult to process in the digestive system as they are essentially made up of fiber, an element that is difficult to digest as we know...
The issue is that no one actually speaks Portuguese in the establishment, only English...
If a Portuguese family comes who doesn't speak English, how will you serve them?
And do we have to speak English to be served in a restaurant in Portugal?
With free Portuguese classes for foreigners?
If they only speak English, they go to England...
The two employees, he and she, were between sulking and irritated, having been told that they should try to learn Portuguese and she replied that she didn't have time for the conversation ?
On the way out I said goodbye in Portuguese and the little boy replied good night with fun ?
And it's not about anything else, I'm one of those who share the welcoming and even universalist spirit of the Portuguese and by me they are welcome, especially because we need emigrants to help produce wealth and sustain Social Security, with the population aging in our eyes. visas. They even do what the benefit-dependent Portuguese don't want to do... But isn't it possible to be forced to speak another language in my country?... It's not possible!
And Asae does not have the power under the Law to control this?
And this goes for all other restaurants where the same thing happens, because I've been faced with this a few times.
I may have to leave and look for another establishment when it happens again, so I don't get bored... ?♂️

The positive reviews are written by people who have nothing to do with cooking, such as English, Germans and Americans.
I am Italian.
I ordered and tasted three different dishes, all with the same jumble of stuff that has nothing to do with Indian cuisine or any other country.
It's an insult to the palate and also to the wallet, considering that an average of 17 euros is spent on a dish made really badly (and it takes a lot to ruin a cherry tomato or an aubergine).
Tourist trap.

Great, mainly Thai cuisine, very thoughtful service. Every single dish we ordered was very tasty and we were a group of five. Mango lassi was delicious. Recommend!

We LOVED our meals at this restaurant. I had the coco salmon and it was phenomenal. My friend had the panang curry and was very happy with her meal also. Our waiter, Olly, was so kind and courteous to us. He even brought us an ice cream sundae for a celebratory dessert for our birthday! 10/10

While staying in Lagos, my party and i decided to go into old Lagos for a nice dinner and had a restaurant in mind. When we got there, that restaurant wasn't very accessible with my wheelchair so we decided to try The Seasonal because it was easier for me. That was a great decision. Food was excellent and delicious and the staff were very friendly to us foreigners. If that place was here in the United States, I would be ordering frequently. Thank you for serving us and being some accommodating. Hope to go back to Lagos some day and trying your food again.
I had the rendang and my wife had the orange chicken.
Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately, like, many restaurants in the old part of Lagos, wheelchair accessibility is hard to come by especially with all the streets being cobblestone and some steps. I got into the restaurant with assistance from friends. It will require you to go 1 step over the street curb and 1 step into the restaurant. But... if you like, the restaurant offers outdoor seating too which may be more accommodating.

Alright, you know when you eat something & you know that the people who cooked it know what they're doing? This is the case. Great balance of flavours, table service is held by kind people, the music & atmosphere isn't my cup of tea, but besides that, it's a great experience that I am happy to repeat every now & then.

Fantastic food and service. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time, but don’t let that deter you. We went based on good reviews and I felt I needed to further that good rating. Only one street off the main drag well worth the extra few steps. We had Asian clams and Thai green curry, both were as good as I’ve had anywhere.
