“In a place so “distant” from the large population center, I am pleased that such an intimate kitchen provides us with fantastic flavors. With a waiting time of more or less 45 minutes to serve, in the end our stomach thanks you. Cooking on time. The k is little seen these days. Grateful Plo fried cod k potato and onion and roasted veal k reminds us of our grandparents. Do you want to eat in the north interior??? Go there. Do not defraud. Grateful.“

“I can't even remember how many years it has been since my husband and I ate a burger outside the house. And then, researching places to eat in Sátão, I arrived at the address of this restaurant that had written on the door that they had roast chicken, but despite it still being around 1:00 pm, I was informed that they no longer had any, even though the restaurant only had a table occupied with 2 people, I think maybe it's because they serve food outside.I decided with my husband to order 2 burgers since I didn't have any other option. They were really very delicious. They were accompanied by very good fries and salad. The burgers were very big and we couldn't eat them all. There was waste. Suggestion: Have the option of half-sized burgers, and the best option would be 3 sizes. Large, medium and small. We had the house wine and really enjoyed it.“

“We read one review and decided to eat here. We ditched our plans for another place because it read so well. There were only two unreserved tables as the place is small. We highly recommend making reservations ahead of time, although we came early so were able to grab one of the unreserved tables. We watched quite a few people get turned away later due to the popularity and lack of room. The prices are great, and the owner, Vasco, cares more about the food he is serving than the money he is making. It is very obvious. Many of his dishes were passed down from his grandmother, and others were variations he created using a variety of fruits, vegetables and meats. Everything we ate was amazing. We were not rushed, as it seems he may only do one seating per night. We were treated more like guests in his home rather than patrons in a restaurant. If you are in Evora, you must eat here if you have the chance. Make sure you take the time to talk with Vasco. He is a unique and wonderful individual.“

“I stayed 8 nights in Porto. This restaurant was about 4 blocks from my hotel. The staff were always welcoming and helpful, some spoke very good English. The menu was also printed in English. Selections were varied and portions large. Cost was very reasonable. Please support them if you're in town!“
