Very friendly and helpful staff! My strawberry gin concoction recommended by the staff did add sparkle to the evening activity of watching the city amble by. The family next to us was destroying about five francesinhas and I was envious. The staff very kindly helped us call a cab!! And the last cab in Lamego! Forever grateful.

Going to the cafe is always a sensational experience. Quality food, thousand-star service, cold beer and a guaranteed good laugh.
I recommend their francesinha because it’s the best in Lamego!

We ate francesinha and omelet with fries, rice and salad. House wine. Very well received. Food served quickly, well prepared and tasty. Impeccable.

Traditional house in Lamego, the current owner maintains the traditional snacks, excellent tripe dishes in the Douro fashion, but only on Saturdays.

They served me the francesinha cold, and I had to wait almost 1 hour before I could eat it, plus the francesinha was disgusting.
Very friendly... I only had a salad and it was good.
We asked for a recommendation, they pointed to the first item on the menu, which was the traditional Portuguese sandwich (assorted meats between two slices of bread, melted cheese on top with a tomato based sauce). It was a very poor rendition of this classic sandwich. The meet inside was mostly ordinary hot dog cut into small pieces. The bread was nothing special. The service was not great either. Overall, it was not a good experience after all the good food we had in Portugal.
