We visited nine Michelin-starred restaurants during our vacation in Spain/Portugal, but our meal here was better prepared than nearly all of them. Also, Diogo was great and ensured we had a perfect experience.
Restaurant located in the Six Senses Douro Valley hotel.
Prestigious place, with a sublime atmosphere where details such as ambiance, comfort, lighting, are followed to the letter.
On the 31/05th, I went to this restaurant for dinner and with the hot day, we stayed on the terrace. Adequate ambient music, an atmosphere with great class and good taste. All framed with a wonderful view over the Douro River.
The cod fillet was divine, offering perfect flakes...

I would just like to point out that in relation to the service, certain aspects should be improved.
On May 31st, I and a group of 5 friends staying at the hotel went to this restaurant for dinner, we felt hostility, especially from the sommelier, who did not have the expected attitude. At that same dinner, the only waitress's attitude was not the most friendly and/or professional.
