I ask for the dish of the day and they bring me two dwarf hake fillets, an almost invisible salad. The person who accompanied me asks for cod. Frozen inside and somewhat raw. All this after waiting an hour and forty-five minutes. We have asked for the bill and we have told the waitress, who has apologized and deducted 4 euros for the inconvenience, and denied that the hake was frozen. I do not recommend it

Very cute restaurant with freshly prepared and very tasty food. We sat around the bar where we can see how the food was garnished and prepared. The razor clams were ridiculously good and the octopus and beans stew was tender and juicy. The wine menu was also interesting and the server was very attentive and provided very good advice on wine choices and pairing. Loved the place!!
We always come to this discreet family own restaurant. An authentic, generous and super fresh cuisine. The staff is efficient and friendly, a must in Belem

My experience in Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants has always been outstanding. Regrettably this time we did not like the star dish of duck and rice. A lot if flavors that finally did not sum up but mostly dissipated. A disappointment. All the rest was outstanding. The meat pie. The razor clam empanada. The octopus feijoada.
Very nice family restaurant very good food. 5 star friendly service

We had steak tartar, the pork pie (recommended), duck with rice and Monkfish and the sorbet dessert. We were walk-ins and were sat at the corner inside overlooking the street and we loved it. The bread with the soft butter and olive oil was delicious but it was Euro 2.5 per person. The steak tartar came first and it was sooo delicious. The best I ever had. The ingredients mixed in with the juicy raw steak was just out of this world good! It was my daughter's first steak tartar and she absolutely loved it. Unfortunately it was all downhill from there. The tiny pork pie was recommended to us. It was okay, not anything very special in our humble opinion. The duck rice was fine. It felt like something I could easily tossed together if I had the duck. The portion was rather big so good for a hungry person. The monkfish was interesting. It was plated like the French haute cuisine in an elegant way but I didn't like the sauce at all. All in all the taste was not to my liking. We ordered a dessert anyway, the lemon sorbet was delicious. The service was friendly and a bit on the slow side but no biggie cos the staff was very nice. The 3 star is really for that we would definitely not return since it wasn't that impressive for a USD100 meal for two. It was pricy.
Very motivated owner, Wednesday traditional dish from northern Portugal.

I had a great birthday meal here. Beautiful cosy restaurant, great staff and amazing food. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Also a very very good price for the quality of food you get. I would highly recommend the beef tartare, the duck rice and the oxtail but I am sure whatever you get here will be great!
Perfect..and well served..
