It could be excellent but it's a shame. It is not understandable that they force the sale of products and that they do not explain the quantities, as in certain dishes half a dose is enough and there is enough for two people, but this does not please them. It also doesn't make sense that when you arrive at the table you find a plate of shrimp at a very hot room temperature. If you don't eat it, it will move from table to table! The prices are quite high, the service doesn't exist and everything takes a long time....it depends on whether they feel like they are a customer who won't look at the invoice or if they are willing to spend without counting. If there is more than one child, they warn that they have to consume for a minimum amount of 15 euros. There is no shortage of restaurants that are more respectful of their customers.

the service was very good. It's a shame that the strength and desire to sell is great and I felt aggrieved by leaving it to the mercy of whoever is serving to decide for me the quantity of doses to be served. There were 4 of us eating the cataplana and they served the largest quantity unnecessarily. One person ordered roast chicken and they served a portion (one person got half a portion) The food: the starters were great. In the cataplana, the mussels were tasteless. The crab legs were out of date as there was a strange taste. No one ate the seafood rice because it didn't taste good. The Pedra Alta steak was very tough and dry. I'm sorry, but this time the food was not acceptable for a prestigious house like this. I've been a customer of theirs for many years and I'm sorry I won't have to go there again.

Food quality is amazing. We had the beef and pork and the taste was incredible. Be warned, the size of dishes is very large so if you are not a big eater think about sharing one dish between two people. The atmosphere was great but 4 stars because we felt music was a bit loud. The service was very good and they treat you very well. We had a great time and we recommend this restaurant. The price is not cheap but for the amount they give you and quality, it is fair. This restaurant is not for vegetarians though. Free parking on premises or on the road.

Well... I can only praise DAVID's incredible service, I had never experienced service at this level anywhere... a memorable moment! Regarding the food, as always, nothing to write home about! DAVID confirmed that we had already been with the owner of Pedra Alta, which we already suspected, but it was great to confirm that we had been with this LEADER! Thank you for everything!

Evening meal with friends (8 people) at Lavra, very warm welcome from the waiters, on the other hand they brought us shrimp, bread, local sandwiches on the table without asking us anything at the time of the aperitif, which after explanations to the waiters we will be billed if consumed, but will be recovered and redistributed to other customers. We therefore wonder about the practice.... just a bit of a shame about the way of proceeding which in our opinion has tarnished the picture and the atmosphere a little. That said, we ate very well (once we ordered our chosen dishes), with a very friendly French-speaking waiter, and a nice decor.
