On 07/28/2024 we went to the restaurant for dinner, we are from Leça, we have been going to the restaurant since we were kids. We were served completely rotten roast veal, the waiter was impeccable, as good as he could be in that situation. On the advice of the waiter, they served us another veal at double the price with half the dish. We paid 80 euros and an apology. Any restaurant that makes a serious food safety error knows very well what to do, I'm not the one to teach it. It was once an excellent restaurant... With excellent and excellent quality. From the ambiance, quality of food and service is currently decadent.

We celebrated a birthday there and it was a big disappointment. We thought that the Mauritania was a place of quality and a certain class and that has not been the case. The service on the first floor leaves a lot to be desired. Unfriendly middle-aged waiters with little desire to work and others with no experience without a boss to support them. They have not known how to guide us with the dishes. We ordered a shameful seafood grill for €130 in which there was nothing but prawns, a type of large prawn and some mussels. It's not worth that price. A shame not to have chosen a better restaurant. We do not recommend it.
