Friendly service even with limited english. Delicious pastel da nata (flaky, creamy) and baked goods. Great place to grab a snack, coffee, even a hearty meal. It was very popular and reasonably priced. We had two pastries, a cheese sandwich, and two coffee items for 6.5 euros. Lots of families and a great outdoor area.

It seems out of place and can generate some distrust, "how can there be quality in that lost place..." Well, don't be fooled! Excellent quality throughout the pastry, with custard tarts that will make it worth the stop! Fabulous bread, delicious croissants and a giant chorizo bread all in a very welcoming space with careful decoration.

Jomafel has "ONLY" the best custard tarts I've ever eaten in my life. Bigger and better filled than the usual ones and in no way inferior to the famous Pastéis de Belém. They also sell fast food, slow fermentation bread and pizzas...
