Interesting place where some really cool food things are going on. Outstanding produce and cookery is on show here. However, a couple points to note.
Produce is king here. That means it's expensive. And it's not transparently priced. The big cheese and meat board is put down regardless. Everything there is tempting and delicious, but it will ad up very, very quickly and might leave you surprised. A plate of the absolute finest jamon iberico will likewise materialise without asking. This is not free. This is an opt in. The moment you take a bite, that's fifteen euros. This is hinted at in the menu, but not transparent. I twigged this from reviews, and the menu, and munched away anyway because by god it's good and if that's your thing, worth it, but be careful. There are no freebies here.
Ala carte dishes are hearty rustic cooking with real skill and flavour, but lack presentation, which is fine, because food should feed first and foremost and this does.
Star of the show? Wine. The sommelier is a collector. He knows his business. His recommendations, similarly lacking transparency, are nonetheless flawless.
This is worth a visit if you're not scared of paying for top produce. I don't feel short-changed, I understand why some would. This is a very cool place though for foodies.

Wheelchair accessibility: With the number of stairs I do not recommend it for people with reduced mobility

One of the best gastronomic experiences I can remember. A restaurant with an excellent and calm atmosphere, an out-of-the-box concept and food of excellent quality and flavor. Wonderful! The service is also of the best quality. Of course it's not cheap, but it's well worth it ?

Entering this restaurant means being prepared for a pleasant and long parade of flavors of unquestionable quality.To begin with, the reception features a large and tempting cheese and sausage tray.Next comes the choice of the main dish, presented on a balanced menu, not too extensive in the number of options, but enough to feel confident in any of the choices you make.The mirandesa steak was great and the various side dishes were excellent.The decision regarding wine involves analysis, not of the menu, but of a wine encyclopedia that is made available to us. We can count on an infinite number of possibilities, packed in an appropriate space at the entrance.Be careful to come with someone, both to share a magnificent experience and also to split the final bill.Leading this trip is a competent and attentive staff.

We had a great time enjoying lunch at this restaurant with our family, we didn’t have a booking but they were able to get us a table. The staff really made the experience special by taking the time to explain the various cheese and meats, the sommelier also gave us personalised suggestions for wines to try from the different regions. Everything we ate was delicious but I really enjoyed the duck and rice. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area, it made for a unique experience from start to finish.
