The linguines were great as well only 15€ each with tons of seafood and seeds and or nuts. Perfectly home made deserts too, but they usually sell out“

“Ring the Bell! Yes, this is EXACTLY what we did to get admitted on Oct 9, 2023 …my last night visiting Portugal before flying off first thing tomorrow. Told my friends who brought me here, that I feel like going to meet the mafia :) I was told it’s hard to secure a reservation unless there’s some last minute cancellations. Viola ! You get transported into a time warp of the British era, complete with wooden furnishings and waiters formally dressed but certainly not opulent. I find the seating rather cramp and the acoustics poor. Well, when a restaurant boldly advertises herself to have the best steaks in town, how can one possibly skip the steak ? I went for a non-carbs O tradicional bife, served with spinach…. But I suspect their signature creamy sauce is calorie laden. It was probably unique because I rarely eat beef with creamy sauce. The BEST? Ah no. Above average ? Yes. Personally, I’d stick to my Japanese Wagyu. Good selection of wines too. The service however, was impeccable.“
