We eat very well. Typical and homemade cuisine.The place is not a luxury place but it is worth it.The location can be reached from any point in the center of Leiria.The only thing to consider is that when parking in front of the restaurant you have to park a little far away.

Très belle découverte dans cette ruelle visible depuis une place centrale dans la partie vieille ville historique de Leiria. Nous étions 3 personnes et avons été très bien accueilli par la patronne qui parle un peu le français. Les plats du jour proposés étaient variés et très bons. Il y a en plus un plat végétarien. Nous avons dégustés les olives marinade maison de la patronne, une tuerie. Prix modique incluant café et dessert. Un accueil chaleureux et des papilles plus que satisfaites. Merci beaucoup à toute l'équipe et nous reviendrons.

Very good price, very friendly and everything very delicious.
The service was terrible, there was enormous arrogance on the part of the employee who served us. Regarding the food, there were almost no options, including the dishes of the day that were out of stock, we placed the order and after 20 minutes they came to inform us that they didn't have one of the dishes, the orders didn't come as requested, the turkey meat was raw and when I asked for it to be better, the waitress who served me took the plate and turned away without any response. I had been here a few years ago and loved it, but after this experience I don't recommend it. In the end, the person in charge/manager of the establishment apologized for the delay in service, with great kindness but unfortunately it did not erase the bad experience. We would have liked to have been attended to by her.

We arrived at 9:30pm, they were clearing tables (noted open until 11:30pm). We are installed inside, simply 3 dishes offered (probably what is left). No shellfish in the Carne de porco Alenjana and the potatoes were undercooked. It's not bad but clearly warmed up. We were amazed as we came after reading the latest reviews. 9:30 p.m. was probably too late. Damage.

Great quality price, very friendly and attentive staff, simple and very welcoming.And an added value is having a meat dish, a fish dish and a vegetarian dish on the menu of the day (something that is rare on the menu of the day in most establishments)I highly recommend and will be back again.
