We wanted to go to the famous restaurant next door but as there was a queue the staff advised us to go to this new place from the same group and with the same chef. We were pleasantly surprised because everything was really delicious! The waiter at our table did not serve us well, first offering us wines and bitters and then saying he didn't have them so we could buy something else at a higher price. When I pointed this out to the room manager he immediately offered us the bitters we had requested and which according to the boy were not available, going to get them directly from the wine shop next door (always from the same group). We liked the Muscatel so much that we bought a bottle and drank some glasses of Port too. We definitely were unlucky with the table boy because the rest of the staff were magnificent!

I am going to narrate the entire "experience" lived there. We went to the María Catita restaurant and they told us that they were full, but that next door there was a restaurant from the same chain, which they recommended to us, A Gaúcha. We went to this one and they sat us at a table as we arrived. We ordered the food and we waited for about an hour, it didn't arrive for a few minutes. The octopus and squid looked good (although octopus and spinach as an accompaniment make no sense because it bitters the flavor, but hey, you leave them aside and that's it). Plus, it was all grilled and tasted like meat, but you could eat it. We ordered cod (2pax €42). The piece of cod was tiny (rich, but tiny) and bathed in mashed potato. There we felt robbed, because honestly if you pay €15 for that dish it's fine, but €42! When we finished we told the manager, he nodded because he was aware that the price was not the most appropriate for the dish and told us that it was because "they didn't have any more cod left." When the bill arrived, the price of the cod was not reduced and they charged us €42 for mashed potatoes and a sad cod. When we complained about this situation, the manager gave us each a dessert and a shot of a local liquor. If I return to Lisbon, I will definitely not return to this restaurant.

The food was pretty good, but in our opinion, they cook with too much lemon and cilantro. The first waiter who served us was very serious, to the point of being unpleasant, and insisted that we order more dishes than we wanted. Finally, we left half of the food because they were very filling dishes. Luckily, another of the waiters was very attentive and made up for it by offering us a glass of wine; excellent on your part. The meat, fish and vegan lasagna were very good. The location is also good.
