Another hidden gem off the main tourist area.Local Portuguese food, simple but tasty.Can recommend the pork and sole.House white wine was inexpensive and excellent.Sweet rice dessert also delicious.Like some local restaurants we were given a salad and meat apetitiser which we didn't request and then they charge you. That said they weren't expensive and we enjoyed them both but if you don't want then send them back.

The food is not bad but the price-quality ratio is somewhat inadequate and the portion sizes are small. The service is abrupt, even approaching rude, often ignoring customers, picking up the starters with the dishes still halfway through (and charging them in full, obviously). It is important to note that it was still a relatively large group. I imagine it being just a couple. I knew the place from many years ago. I went back and was sadly disappointed.
