Nice restaurant in Belém. You can have a delicious meal there for a good price. I recommend octopus rice which I really enjoyed.

Very authentic portuguese Cafe between all the expensive touristic spots in Belém with excellent cappuccino with a little coffee bean on top! Delicious bakeries, very good prices

Authentic little cantina with a traditional and small menu. There is a room upstairs as well, so lots of space to sit (all indoors). Second floor war quite warm but nice atmosphere. The food was great (especially the octopus rice). The waiting time was a bit long, but all in all nice place for a lunch.

A typical and inexpensive restaurant. Good Portuguese cuisine. I loved. Bitoque, cod, grilled octopus and octopus with rice.

Best part of the walk is sitting down for a drink at MSC. Cheeky imperial costs €1.70. Spend time sitting or sauntering to Cacilhas. To the right, between cranes on the skyline, is 25 April bridge

Rather nice. We offer tapas on arrival. Traditional cuisine presented simply. Good and cheap. The owner is cheerful and friendly. To test.

We were walking from the Botanical Garden and tried to find some restaurant nearby . It was not far and seemed to be OK but it was already 5pm and we were the only guests. The waiter brought starters which we didn't order but we didn't protest as we were hungry and it was tasty - two pieces of cod cake (Eur 1.40 each), cheese (Eur 2.50) and bread (Eur 0.70). As main we had veal steak with potatoes and garlic (Eur 12) and pork steak with egg, chips and rice (Eur 10). For drink we had cappucino (Eur 2), beer (Eur 2.70) and sparkling water (Eur 1.30). It was simple but tasty.

It looked like a good traditional Portuguese restaurant. We ordered Bacalhau à Brás and Polvo à Lagareiro. The dishes were good and enough. I was very well attended by the kind waiter. I actually felt welcomed, after having turned away from so many foreign restaurants that unfortunately took over downtown Lisbon.

The worst salmon of my life!I am Franco-Portuguese, and one of my favorite dishes in Portugal is grilled salmon, which the Portuguese know how to prepare wonderfully, and I have never been disappointed, until setting foot in this restaurant.I'm ashamed that this restaurant can exist in such a touristy area, it's bad publicity for this beautiful country where you eat well in 99% of places.Run away !An infamous salmon, full of bones and tasteless. The owner is Portuguese, and he must know what a good grilled salmon is, he should be ashamed to serve that, and I'm sure he wouldn't eat it himself.Note that I politely pointed out to him that the salmon was not good.He didn't seem to care royally, and didn't even have the business intelligence to offer a little coffee. Not even a word of apology. Lamentable.I attach the ticket to show that my opinion is real.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos. Glad we did. The other restaurants were busy and noisy. The service was very good and attentive. They also spoke English very well. We had the octopus salad and ragareiro. Can't complain..would recommend.
