A small draft beer €4A theftAnd they are not kind
The history of this city and this door in particular is spectacular... it can be seen in its walls, blocks, and wood because of everything that was experienced...Pure history...Highly recommended for the views whatever the time..The sunsets look beautiful..
You can not see from thise place to the Ozean, christo and the Bridge. Online from inside. Where you have to pay
Great service!Very good and homemade meal.
Worthwhile view, but 15 euros entrance fee is a bit cheeky...
The cod is excellent. The cassoulet lacks a little meat but is very good.
Ancient walls, ancient houses and an ancient pavement along which modern cars and buses drive and modern people walk.
And we all strive for the Arc de Costelo. And whoever passed through this impressive arch, which opened the entrance to the inner part of the fortress wall, already found himself in the part of the city fenced off by the Walls of the Fortress of St. George. The artist stands near the arch itself. Sells his paintings. All paintings are views of Lisbon and all views are associated with tram route 28. Cute. Quite interesting, but didn’t grab my attention. Like mass art, I like it but it doesn’t grab me. It’s beautiful, but they didn’t see the soul or personality, maybe that’s why they didn’t take a single picture.
Bad attention. I went like every tourist to be treated well and the waiter left a lot to be desired. And on top of that, 1 HOUR WAITING FOR THE FOOD!! And when I asked him why he was taking so long, he didn't know what to tell me. Horrible not recommended. The food is delicious but for that I would go somewhere else.
Entry point to the castle.

Very dirty place, terrible food and unpleasant staff. Rather fast!!!!
For such a busy area, since the final destination is to reach St. George's Castle, it is quite neglected and dirty, which is somewhat disappointing. But you have to pass under this large stone arch, since it was the entrance door to the castle and very close to it, in what was the inside of the wall, a tribute to Saint George to whom many crusaders professed their devotion. Here we must remember that the forces of Alfonso I of Portugal managed to conquer the castle, in the year 1147, from the Muslims, after three hard months of siege, thanks to the help of the Norman, Flemish, German and English crusaders who were heading to Holy Land.
Currently: area of bars, tourist shops and street stalls, where there are always plenty of people.
This arch is a very nice invitation to the great Castelo. It's worth going here late in the evening as the crowds of tourists aren't that big.
Very nice surroundings, with lots of small restaurants and bars and beautiful views.
With a magnificent view of Lisbon
The gateway to one of the most visited monuments in Portugal is disgusting. Degraded, dilapidated, in need of urgent intervention and full painting. Could it be that the thousands of euros in ticket sales at Castelo de São Jorge do not pay for the repairs?
