Belcanto offers a refined dining experience with a focus on local products and inventive dishes. The service is attentive and top-notch, providing a simple and enjoyable atmosphere. The quality-price ratio is fair, making it a beautiful address for a meal. Guests can choose from two different tasting menus and wine accompaniments, a unique feature. While the food is exceptional and well-paired with wine, some may find the wine selection to be more toward the oxidative spectrum, lacking in freshness. The restaurant provides a modern take on classic Portuguese cuisine with solid courses.
Customers have praised the fantastic experience at Belcanto, with the food being superb and the welcome and service outstanding. The servers ensure a complete translation from chef to plate, and the hostess facilitated a kitchen tour to start the evening. All the dishes were well executed, and the golden eggs, red prawns, squab, and suckling pig dishes were highlights. The service was impeccable, the decor modern and approachable, and the food outstanding, unique, and beautifully presented. The squid ink chocolate dessert was memorable. The tasting menu, at 250€ per person and 150€ to add the wine pairing (or 250€ for the premium wine pairing), was incredible in terms of presentation and service.
