Service makes the difference. Canadians/Swiss people are friendly, fun and informal. The food is generally very different from what Portuguese taverns offer. Sausages, pickles and cheeses that I haven't seen anywhere else. The installations are fun and original. What's more: each brand of beer comes in its own appropriate glass. This means attention to detail. This means that Edelweiss is worth getting to know.
We stumbled across this place on our first night in Lisbon as we were lured in by the half price aperol spritz they do for happy hour between 5 and 8pm. For the 6 days we spent in Lisbon we came here for 3 of them it’s that good! Marc and Barbara were especially accommodating and made the atmosphere lovely, we had a fantastic dinner here on the last evening. Cozy place.

Pros:
* Nice room decor.
* Delicious German food, sausages with potato salad and sauerkraut - worthy of only compliments. The soup from the seasonal menu is also good.
* Fast service.

Minuses:
* The windows and doors in the room are wide open, which makes it cool and somewhat drafty.
