Found this place while taking a walk from Belem Tower. Really happy with the food and service. We had a few dishes and they were tasty and warm. The shrimp and croquettes were our favorites. The Sagres beer was also delicious. There are seating options inside and outdoors. Recommended, if you're in the vicinity.

We came in for a family dinner. They were very kind and helpful to us, there were a lot of regulars and locals besides us. The risotto differs from the Italian recipe, it is juicier, with very pleasant seasoning, the rice is ideally cooked, with plenty of shrimp on the plate. The portion was so big that my wife couldn't handle it, even though it was so delicious that she didn't want to leave a single drop of it. The pasta seemed homemade, also with plenty of shrimp, nice seasoning and just the right amount of sauce (neither too much nor dry). Both dishes deserve a rating above 5. The cod fish with corn cod was without seasoning, the texture was not perfect, it was a bit chewy here and there, so I would give it a value of 4 or 3.5. The portions are sufficient, the prices are pleasant. I think it's a good place, we really liked the elegant interior and the beautiful table setting.

The prawns and steak (house spizailita) were good. The fries were a little soggy but ok. Unfortunately the service wasn't that friendly. The gin and tonic came in a plastic cup. In general it smelled a bit strange when we sat outside. The price was fair.

Good afternoon, I asked for a chair for my baby, not even a cloth was wiped on the chair, it was full of dust.
Some servers were very unpleasant, when we arrived we wanted to sit on the terrace but a server told us no, not possible while leaving. We had to ask another waiter who was nice and seated us outside. The Greek salads didn't have much taste and the salad was poorly washed. I had sand and little gnats in my salad, not great. It was good for a quick bite and because we were hungry.

Very good experience in this Café Imperio. The octopus was cooked properly, not rubbery, plentiful. Special mention for the garlic spinach that accompanies the octopus: they are delicious. My wife's veal gratin was good according to her. The children's menu seemed OK, nothing more. Visit on April 25, 2024, in the evening. Rather quiet room at 7 p.m., with a few customers on the terrace and only the three of us in the room. A bit of entertainment with the procession of ambassadors who came to dine in a nearby restaurant, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary festivities on April 25. Fair prices for the location: €48 for 3 dishes and a bottle of water.
