Cafeteria style food, yet well made and tasty. The ladies behind the counter were super friendly and helpful. The views from the rooftop terrace are stunning. A little different experience than a normal restaurant, We had a lovely time. Thank you.

The canteen open to all, from an association for the defense of women.
The food is very good and not expensive but with little choice (3 dishes 1 meat, 1 fish, 1 vegetarian)
If we're lucky, we eat on the small terrace with a view of the Tagus
Difficult to find but worth the detour
4 stars for service because it's a self service

Restaurant on the third floor, with views of the Tagus River, undoubtedly spectacular, although the food is abundant, it leaves a lot to be desired, since it is served cold and quite bland.

Wonderful view over the city. Honest food, nothing extraordinary, but as expected in the "canteen" concept, and at ridiculous prices

The food was not bad, but the atmosphere was bad, the waiters fighting among themselves.

Good value for money. Between €8 and €10 per person for the main course, drink and dessert.
With a terrace which has a beautiful view of the Tagus and the 25th of April Bridge.

A breathtaking view of the Tagus and quality food for a very reasonable price. Come when it opens if you want a place on the terrace.

Restaurant with a terrace, with few tables, but with an excellent view of the river. It usually has 3 dishes (meat, fish and vegetarian), it also has 3 types of menu combinations, for example: dish + soup + coffee = 8€ (price on April 24) but the other menus vary by one or two euros more.It also has an interior room. The restaurant is on the third floor with the possibility of taking the elevator or stairs. The weekly menu can be found on the juntanacionalacisjf blog

great find!I honestly wouldn't know where to start; Looking for the place I went around several times until I realized that it is in the third of a block, there are 3 types of economical menus of €8, €9 and €10 more complete! It is not intended to be a restaurant, they simply serve menus in a hidden place with good views!Observation; They only accept Portuguese cards! In my case I had a traveler problem, I didn't have cash or a physical bank card (I'm from Spain, and I always use contactless)I had to ask a customer for cash and send it to her via revolut.Obviously my fault! Also, many thanks to the cashier of the day on 04/18/2023!I know I still owe you €0.50 for the bread! ?I felt sorry for not even leaving a tip because they deserve it and the place is worth it!Recommended!

First thing, this place is not easy to find, but well worth the effort. It's not a traditional restaurant that you may be accustomed to, this is a no frills Catholic operated cafeteria style eatery. Your options are soup (Y/N), salad (Y/N), meat, seafood or vegetarian. There isn't a menu, you just answer those questions and they reach you your plate. Please do not let this make you think it isn't great because it was. The outdoor terrace was incredible and the food was as good as some of the Michelin restaurants that we had eaten at.

Vegetarian options: A single Veg option daily.
