Excellent restaurant, I especially like the space, which is excellent for summer afternoons. As for the food, I didn't really like the eggs with farinheira, but I'm a big fan of the cabidela.
Unpretentious Portuguese food. 1 serving of sardines (6) - €12, boiled potatoes in their skins (excellent) and salad with peppers. Super efficient and friendly service. Detail worth noting - from 12pm to 3pm smoking is prohibited on the terrace (hallelujah, an example for other restaurants to follow!).
We love going to Cantinho. There's great traditional pot food: stew, feijoada, cabidela rice, dogfish soup!! The snails are the best in the area and the staff is always friendly. The prices are quite affordable, especially at lunch. It's a good place to go with the kids, as it's in a car-free area where they can play.
