Casa do Alentejo is a small Moroccan-style complex in the heart of Lisbon. The building features a unique blend of Mozarabic and Baroque decoration, creating an elegant atmosphere. The entrance is nearly hidden from the street, adding to the surprise of discovering the beautiful arches and colored windows.
The courtyard is a nice spot for drinks and light snacks with friends on a warm afternoon. The service is friendly, and the beers are refreshing. The food is excellent, with both traditional and Arabic-influenced dishes, some with intense flavors. While the quality may vary, the place is worth revisiting for the impressive building, professional service, and occasional excellent discoveries.
