If you want something original, truly Portuguese, this is the place for you. And that's what we wanted. ONLY locals sit here and that's a good sign. The place is so retro that it's a cult again. Neon lettering, all in light gray or stainless steel. There's a TV on in the corner (like in many places here, even in finer places ?. ) You see what you get in a huge glass fridge next to the counter. There's a little bit of everything - when it's sold out...
Typical place in Lisbon, good location, Joseph the waiter was very cool, he treated us very well, we ate delicious, definitely the representation of Lisbon's culture... I went 3 times in one week that I was there! Obrigadooo
Visited in late June, during a layover in Lisbon (heading back to USA). My mom and I wanted some authentic Portuguese, and reached out to locals to see what was suggested. It was a smaller place, but the atmosphere was perfect. Small decorations, streaming the Copa Euro, and clearly some regulars. Food was delicious, and prices were amazing! Would love to return.
