I used to go there quite often to eat their seafood platter that was very good. Now it has changed. Oysters are tiny, and I was so disappointed by the sapateira recheada that has nothing more to do with this dish. Some crab meat with a lot of cartilage in it served in a ceramic like fake crab basket. So probably the crab meat is canned. Awesome.
Service is pushy and they are pushy too with the tip as a lot of tourist-expats restaurants in Lisbon right now. Annoying.

I won't come back to this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great until the bill and payment time. the waitress showed us briefly the bill and i handed over the card for the payment. without asking permission to do so, it was added 7.5% as tip. the tip was not discussed or accepted and assuming it on the payment terminal was not a good service. I wouldn't mind tiping (because the service was good indeed), but charging the tip without permission made me feel scammed. I would come back otherwise, but considering this attitude, I won't.

A prime location but difficult to park.
We ordered house steaks and it was delicious, nothing to write home about.
The place is beautiful and elegant.
The employees are professionals, perhaps the only thing I want to point out is that I wanted to be talking to the person in front of me and the employee kept “talking” a little beyond what was comfortable, I had to ask him to “go away” which added to the feeling of the night.
Shortly afterwards, at the next table, there was a family and the same waiter creating the same discomfort towards them, so they were also asked to let them eat/be “in peace”.
I would also like to add that the employee smelled a lot of tobacco, which made it difficult for us to have him by our side.
Despite this occurrence, the dinner experience was wonderful. A place to visit.

Not to be missed among the starters are the Vongoles flavored with fresh coriander, just exceptional. To accompany with a Redoma Blanc Reserva 2022. Excellent value for money.

Pretty good experience during the meal
That said, a seafood platter that was a bit light for 2 and the unpleasant surprise was when paying the bill.
The appetizers as starters supposedly included in the menu charged 14€ for 4 slices of ham (very good that said) also be careful the waiters add a 15€ tip without batting an eyelid

What I like most about this restaurant, at the Hotel Tivoli in Lisbon, is the brightness of the room, its large windows, the view of the beautiful Avenida da Liberdade, the exceptional service and, also, the delicious oysters from the Algarve, so fresh that they seem to have been taken from the sea at the moment. I really liked the price of the full executive menu (available from Monday to Friday at lunch), with great starter options (such as garlic shrimp and veal carpaccio) and even better main options (Bacalhau à Brás; Sea bass, Steak tartare, Duck rice, among others). With the arrival of summer, the price went from €32 to €42. A la carte, I've already had octopus that was roasted to perfection (side dishes, punched potatoes and vegetables, didn't maintain the same degree of perfection). Last weekend I tried a reasonable Galo fish fillets with naughty cockle rice (€31). To demonstrate the quality of the waiters, on two occasions the meat that my guests ordered was very rare. The situation was soon corrected. In a very short time, the servers brought the perfectly prepared dishes. And, let me tell you, the perfectly cooked Beer Sirloin Steak is very tasty.
