Great atmosphere, little waiting time for tables and very quick lounge service. The food is really tasty, well served and at fair prices. The black pork lizard really tastes like the grill and the one with the soul is Alheira de Mirandela was divine.
Long queue for takeaway charcoal grilled meat as you walk in tells you all you need to know about the quality of the food inside. In a small air-conditioned back room we tucked into veal or pork kebabs with full salad, rice, and chips plus 2 generous portions of pork alentejano with clams. Very reasonable and quick service.

Although the house specialty was roast chicken (we saw several people coming to order and take it home), we ordered a beef skewer with bacon, which came with rice, fries and salad, and also a shrimp omelette , with the same accompaniment; We really liked both things....
