Beautiful space , but not good service. They have two big dogs which scared my son. The dog almost got him. The dog owner who works in this cafe didn’t even apologize…Earlier I liked this place . Now I cannot say that..it’s NOT okay such dangerous dogs can be among the children and their owners allow to charge at people..

The place is beautiful, but unfortunately the staff showed their bad side. We were with the children and one of the children ran past a dog that belonged to one of the workers, the dog was big and was off a leash, it ran at the child and wanted to bite. The dog's owner didn't apologize, she said that in her opinion everything was fine, as the dog didn't bite. The dog caused psychological trauma to the child, we calmed the child for several hours. Other visitors also reprimanded the workers and apologized to them, which they never did.

What a lovely spot! After walking around Alfama and seeing the monastery, we wandered down the street and found this beautiful park with a view of the river. It was quiet and shady with this great cafe. We enjoyed a delicious sandwich and wine. Highly recommend checking it out.

Can have a bit of a queue on Saturdays during the market, but a great spot to stop and rest in the shade with some light bites. Very good prices. Humus was very nice! Can see a bit of the river from the cafe.

Parking: There is a free parking lot next door, but it is only available when there is no flea market (i.e. always except Tuesdays and Saturdays). The street parking spaces fill up quickly.
Kid-friendliness: Right next door, children can play in the playground and keep an eye on them from the café.
