Beautiful historic bakery in the heart of Lisbon. A small queue but worth the wait, and it was easy to get a table at the end of the wait. Pastel de Nata is a must have, and I had a donut as well as apple tea.

We went with my partner to have a coffee and some pastries from Belém, all very good and we left some sunglasses at the pastry shop, the staff found them and kept them until we returned after 2 hours. Thank you very much, we are very grateful. If we return to Lisbon we will stop by here again.

A bakery that will remain in my life! The first coffee I had with one of the people I was most proud to meet in Portugal! He always asks for it with scalded chavina and I order a good warm gallon! :)

The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but I recommend you take a seat at a table upstairs and order whatever desserts seem appeling on the menu, everything we selected was delicious, we went there twice it was such an enjoyable experience.

cannot put into words how much i love this place. went once randomly for a coffee when I was walking through the square, saw the cake pictured below in the cabinet, ordered a slice to go, was so enamoured by the cake box and the delicacy of it all. cake was, of course, perfect. over the next month i went back to confeitaria nacional about 5 times, always buying a slice of cake. i took cake to the park with friends, even. the coffee is good too. there is a woman with long dark hair who served me in the upstairs section of the cafe who always said thank you to me, when i would say thank you to her. she is so charming. my only critique is how many americans who seem to frequent the place dont understand how queues work, but alas, that is not Confeitaria Nacionals fault. FIVE STARS I MISS THIS CAKE SO MUCH

A great time in this traditional Portuguese pastry!
The place is very beautiful and very pleasant to have a little coffee in town.
We tasted the famous pastels de nata which are delicious and we had a good laugh with the waiter :)

This historic bakery is definitely worth a visit for a coffee and some pastries. I tried some typical Portuguese sweets. The prices are excellent, including the coffee, which was very good as well.
I recommend stopping by; you can feel the history inside.
