This cozy bistro across the Church of St. Anthony not only oozes character (being over a century old, with lots of eclectic memorabilia as decor) but serves hearty, delicious food as well. My wife and I relished our dishes--bacalhao with risotto and pork with clams--while listening to blues rock playing in the background. The third-generation owner, Alex, is a cool guy with lots of stories and will happily show you around his charming place. If I'm ever back in Lisbon, I will definitely eat here again!

Wonderful restaurant close to the cathedral. I was scared about high prices because of the location but the prices are actually really cheap for the quality. The quantity is enough. I had a 15€ tuna steak, the only drawback was that we couldn't chose the doneness of the steak but this aside it was perfect. I really recommend the doce de abade in dessert. And the final touch was a free shot of delicious ginjinha.
