Great for lunch and breakfast and conversation.

Average beers, very expensive The meat was tough, the whole dish not tasty enough, but when you consider the price of about 10 euros - it's understandable Octopus 4/5

Great spot to eat, the food was delicious and the staff wonderful. They were very busy but made accommodations to move tables, taught us how to filet a sardine and helped make our short time in Lisbon memorable… Highly recommend it. Great Sangria!

I had a look for a good restaurant to eat fish near the monastery and this place had really good reviews. So we went and the food was amazing and at a very decent price. I even thought of going back to eat there after seeing the prices in the restaurant in the local 'Time out' market. Great service too. Thank you!!!

Somebody in line for the monastery recommended this restaurant. Food is on the 2nd floor (1st floor for Europeans :-) ) We had he sardines and the alheira de oves. Alheira is a local sausage dish. I liked it but you may not like it if you are not that adventurous with foods. No worries, they have other things you like. the guy (I think his name is Andre) is very willing to help you with your travel plans and volunteers whatever he knows about Lisbon or other sites to visit. We had lunch and it was very relaxed and uncomplicated. Just the way I like to eat when i am on vacation. It is very near to the Monastery which is also very worthwhile. It makes a perfect combination. If i am ever back in the hood, I will stop in for lunch again.

Eat well and cheap

Stopped here for coffee and made the wrong choice. Coffee served in cardboard cup and cakes not so fresh. Also a lot of noise from traffic on the main road. Service was mediocre too.

Manuel Maria Correia

Good coffee. Good cakes and bread.
