Absolutely awful. Staff arguing in front of us. Overpriced, undercooked fish, overcooked meat. Food served, no plates. Crisps instead of french fries as advertised.

This is the only restaurant in the beachside commercial area that isn't blaring pop music or sports, so it's a good choice for conversation. Their specialty is skewers. Had a shrimp and squid skewer, very good, and a fish soup starter, also nice. House salad was unimpressive, and sangria had too much brandy - sent it back, and they replaced it with a glass of the house red. Generally a good experience.

Came with my family to this spot and let me tell you it was AMAZING! I had the Dourada fish with fries ( which were to DIE FOR). The chef outdid himself and made amazing food. All the staff are very friendly and kind. I absolutely recommend this place. For breakfast, lunch, dinner and any other meal!

Restaurant looks good and is relaxing and that ends the positive notes. Food horrendous. All main courses served with crisps - a pretty cheap horrible substitute for batatas fritas (chips as advertised). Fish cremated and re the pork shrimp kebab - pork undercooked and prawns cremated. Wine significantly overpriced. Service bizarre in that we were offered Sobremesa before mains arrived - in general our impression was the staff were functioning on a different reality to the clients in general - pleasant but on a different planet.

Really sorry to score a restaurant down. However at the price you expect better. Oysters were fab and garlic prawns were immense. But service was a continual struggle for the team, we had to ask for our table to be cleared as mains were served. When these were served they were mixed up and my brother in law ended up eating some of my steak. Portuguese steak was poor with one sent back. Wine is heavily overpriced- team please see vivino- app?!?- such a shame as it was a celebration of our anniversary which was sadly spoiled. Totally gutted.

Small restaurant with very well prepared homemade food. Good variety at a fair price.

Visited with my family this evening and totally ignored.. all Portugese families around us were served even though we were seated first. When we asked for menus the waiter was rude and grudgingly brought menus.. 25 minutes later no-one had approached us so we left. Disgusting way to treat holidaymakers! We will not be back!!

Terrible service and food. Waiting staff uninterested and bordering on rude. Food really poor. A cocky arrogant man I assumed was the boss strutting around amidst all this smiling and joking as if everything is fantastic. Saw other people who clearly weren't happy but he obviously has no sense as to how the restaurant is performing. Reminded me of a real life episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Wife ordered the vegetarian burger which was 14.95, picture attached. Worst restaurant we visited in our ten days in the Algarve by a long way. Pathetic.

The food was awful, picanha super hard, squid super chewy, we had a fish eye ball on the plate. It is definitely not worthy. The management change and the restaurant is no longer the same. We asked for a discount due to the bad quality of the ingredients and they deducted 8 eur from the bill, very ridiculous

Walked past this restaurant the previous day and thought it looked quite smart so we'd give it a go. Around 6.30pm, we were the only ones there apart from a couple with a baby just finishing, as locals eat later. It didn't quite live up to the image. The 3 waiters all seemed to be young enough to have just left school, and when one of our starters was 'delayed', managed to excel at avoiding eye contact only finally able to tell us that our toasted bread (to accompany the local delicacy pickled sliced carrot with garlic and herbs, which had been with us for around 5 minutes, would come in 3 minutes time - this was after we'd been able to smell burning (toast?) for a while. My wife chose the suspended chicken skewer, the chicken being well cooked but a little dry, while I chose the recommended steak with pepper sauce. Unfortunately, while the sauce was very tasty, the steak itself was quite chewy ( I wasn't asked how I liked it, so assumed it would be the continental medium), so, very rarely for me, I left almost half of it. That said, the chips were real chips, not previously frozen, cut by hand, fantastic - I almost asked for more. The beer came in a chilled glass, which was welcome.

Went back after eating many great meals here on several family holidays. Its gone completely downhill. Waited an hour and a half after ordering, and complained twice. Nobody seemed to care, and most people around us were in the saon. Paid for drinks and leff. Avoid.
