Super recommended central location for breakfast. They have a lot of variety, both sweet and savory, and of very good quality.

My favorite spot near home is perfect for breakfasts, especially for enjoying an arrufada ou pão de deus, which is definitely my favorite treat there.
The place is small but cozy, and the staff is always friendly.
The food is of high quality and reasonably priced. Just a heads up, if you want to pay by card, you need to spend over 5 euros, so be sure to bring some cash as well.

We walked her twice in our stay in Lisbon for the variety of breads, pastries, coffee, and breakfast items. Friendly staff and at least one seems to work daily who speaks English very well. Delicious coffee, pastries, and breakfast and we wish we'd found this place earlier! Lots of locals, but still friendly to the few tourists who also showed up in the morning.

A very nice Portuguese diner. They offer delicious sandwiches and lots of sweets. The staff is extremely friendly. We tried quite a few sweet things and were very satisfied. They don't speak English very well, but they try to understand you. It's very tight inside. We went there three mornings and in all three there was no light in the men's room.
