Just had dinner here. This is a small restaurant and maybe sits 8 inside and 2 outside. We got here right at opening at 1830 and managed to get a table. There are only 2 people working, chef and helper. Like some people mentioned, she has no time to wait for your indecisiveness, she needs to take care of the meats on the bbq as well as other task. Some may find her rude, but remember English is not her first language.
For us, we found her welcoming, attentive and friendly. It was like having a meal at your aunty's and she is always around to make sure your plate is filled, helping put sauce on your chicken, adding rice to your beans, making sure you had something to drink. Cutting fruit and offering it after your meal to help clean your palette. She treats you like a guest in her kitchen and makes sure you are well taken care off.
Yes, potential customers may feel left out as she forcuses on her already seated guest first. But remember, it's only her and one helper working at this small place. Maybe she could add 2 or 3 more tables outside on the sidewalk may help.
But do give this place a try, as service is great and her bbq chicken and sides are delicious.

This is the best kept secret in Lisbonne. The chicken is the best chicken you will ever eat in your life (vs haitian, jerk, etc..). Plain and simple. There is no need to debate. It's just is.

Probably one of the most chaotic restaurants I’ve ever been to, and I loved every second of it. The reviews about the staff are all true, and coming here you’ll see why. There were 2 people working there, juggling the coal grill, the sides, the drinks, and all the dishes.
They don’t have time for your stupid questions about “how spicy is the spicy chicken.” She’s got bigger problems on her hands because the ribs are about to burn. Oh you’ve got an alteration to the set menu you’d like? No, you get what you get.
Despite this, there’s the utmost amount of care and love going into your meal. They’re working hard to get you the best food, and not afraid to step on your feet while doing it. It’s a bit like watching an episode of The Bear in real time, it’s stressful, it’s loud, but you come away fulfilled and wanting more. Can’t recommend this place more.

Amazing amazing food at such bargain prices. Don't skip if you're in Lisbon. Small place but the park nearby has lots of tables if you need to take it away. The staff will package the food with love, care and expertise. The curry rice will blow your head off ??? and the chicken is sublime

The reviews about the owner/chef attitude is very much correct. I was waiting outside for a good period of time and no one came over to say anything, so I went in to politely ask at the bar when a table may be available for 2 people or if likely it would be a considerable wait. She said maybe and smirked and turned away so I asked again and to which she started shouting at myself. Due to this I then said okay and started to leave and go elsewhere whilst during this she shouted at me over the full restaurant when other people are dining.

The food at this restaurant was absolutely amazing, but there was a wait that took us about an hour to get our food, and she served some repeat customers before us. Other than that, the atmosphere was great, and the service was pretty good. The chef had to run the whole place by herself, which was pretty impressive considering the amount of people that were there. Overall, the chicken and ribs were the best, and the rice was also really good. Although, if you are on vacation and have time, It is a really good place to eat.
