“Visiting Lisbon with my family from Boston. Came across this hidden gem while searching for restaurants on google maps. From the time we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff. We chose to sit out back, mainly because we had our two young sons with us. We ordered a caprese salad, minestrone soup, garlic bread, french fries, tomato bruschetta, 2 margharita pizzas and penne carbonara. My goodness! Everything was delicious and the price point was PERFECT! It was wonderful chatting with our server! Clearly everyone at this establishment takes a great deal of pride in what they do. I honestly would drive an hour to eat here again. It’s really that good! Hoping to stop by before our trip back to Boston!“

“Hotel is in the best location in Lisboa! Rooms were very nice- on the second floor overlooking the square.Staff did a great job, special Thanks to Pedro and Jahid.Negative was room not made up on two days until late in the day due to Laundry Company not delivering sheets and towels!We returned after a very long , hot day to see our room not made up! There is a nice bar on the first floor. Rooms were relatively quiet at night- surprisingly so! Biarro Alto can be noisy- lots of parties and full of bustling life- we loved it! Again- great location!“

“During our stay in Lisbon, my boyfriend and I came across this restaurant by chance. A pleasant surprise. A warm welcome, a manager who takes great care of his customers and servers who are also very smiling and welcoming. He took the time to explain each dish to us, and the menu really makes you want to taste everything. It was so good that we came back the next day before we left. A real favorite for this place. The dishes are delicious and the prices are reasonable. The place is clean, and as an added bonus, they speak French. We will come back with great pleasure on occasion.“

“Great food and lovely service, we ordered 4 different starters, a ceviche, a garlic prawn, fried squid and a fried oxtail 'croquetas'.
For the main course we all ordered John Dory fish, it tasted good and filled us up a lot. Maybe a little thick deep-frying, but nice and crispy, the tomato rice also tasted good.
It was about €120 in total for four starters, four main courses and a bottle of wine with water.“

“Great surprise for this restaurant in this hotel. Tasty and well presented dishes and an attention to details.
Extremely cheap prices for what you get (we got a menu wth entree + meal + drink + coffee for 19€
Attentive staff and a nice terrace to enjoy the weather in a not busy street.

Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good quality meal with a slightly fancier twist.
