Staff is very rude when you do not speak Portuguese! It is an airport you cannot expect everyone to speak the same language as you but just don’t be mean if they don’t speak :(

Twice we have visited before flying and twice we were disappointed with the service and the food. But mainly the service. Twice they didn't have any sausages to go with their breakfasts meals. In both times they still said they can not give a discount on the meal and will charge the full €10.9 even if served without the sausages. They said they cannot substituted the sausages with anything else or serve more bacon for example to compensate for the lack of sausages.They were very impatient when I was making the order (ordered for 6 people) and were very inattentive so kept getting the order wrong.On the second visit the woman at the till approached me in Portuguese. I've asked if she speaks English and she literally rolled her eyes at me and begrudgingly spoke in English to me. Considering this Cafe is in an Airport (their international one no less) you'd expect them to be ready to speak in English to tourists. English is. It my first language either. I was making the effort to communicate - they could have made the effort too. Food was ok. My son said the hotdogs were very good. Sushi was ridiculously overpriced. Pointless to say, we are never going back.

Shocking service, international airport & staff struggle to speak English. Ordered coffee for sit down table and received it in a paper cup.. Complained and staff said we should of asked for it in a proper cup!

Incredibly bad, Croque Monsieur inedible, can be described as frass, pain au chocolat is something between mud and all-purpose glue, tastes terrible... Coffee was more like dishwater with aroma... then expensive too... How can you offer something like that ? The catering seems to be a little better in Terminal 2, but unfortunately we didn't have any more time.

An okay place to go if you’ve got a few hours before your flight.The place had dirty tables but they did end up getting cleaned. Just not enough staff and it took ages to have someone take my order every time I wanted a drink.Was quicker to go through international customs than it was to line up and order a drink each time LOL.Food is fine, no complaints with food or drinks.

The disastrous service. Slow and exasperating as you order something from the kitchen. Then he finally comes out and you see him on top of the bench but they don't tell you. Better find another place to eat at the airport.

It is unacceptable that the cafe is open until midnight and that I order a mixed croissant at 11:15 pm and have to eat it cold, because the waiter says he turned off the toaster. The customer who arrives at 11:15 pm is entitled to the same service as the customer who arrives at 4:00 pm, as they both pay the same and it is not much. I will certainly not return to this establishment.
