I was throughly impressed with the careful preparation and attention to detail of the vegan food. Any vegans wishing to dine here should give the restaurant advance notice (we let them know several days ahead) as this is not typical of kaiseki cuisine in Japan. The food was delicious with delicate flavours and exquisite presentation. The chefs took time to explain the flavours and composition. I couldn’t have left happier as did my fellow non vegan diners. A perfect night.

It was an amazing experience!Everything was very fresh and delicious. Big variety of fish. The Portuguese Chef with experience from Japan was very attentive and kind. I would definitely come back.Interesting and maybe important to know before going is that Chef doesn’t serve salmon (mainly because “it can be contaminated with various bacteria and our focus is on local fish”).
