Amazing :-).The menu is only in Portuguese, but the staff is multilingual, so it's not a problem. In fact, I rarely get so pleasantly surprised by something. I will remember that great soft meatball with perfectly fried potatoes for a long time (plus pickled cauliflower and olives, cool). Too bad I didn't have room for dessert. It is (probably) an averagely expensive business in a pleasant location and with a pleasant atmosphere. One-star staff.

One of the best Pica-Pau I’ve had. Succulent meat, perfectly marinated and cooked. The sauce was lovely - you could taste the mustard, wine, garlic, and just the right amount of vinegar. Balanced perfectly. Some creative cocktails as well. Beautiful atmosphere with the lake and garden right by. Prices are honestly a bit high, but I’d easily come back for the Pica-Pau, and the wait staff are also lovely.

Dotado de uma excelente equipa que nos atendeu com total foco e empenho em nos fazer sentir bem, com comida excelente e uma carta de vinhos e de bebidas a condizer, já para não falar da envolvente e da vista relaxante, a Casa do Lago deixa de ser apenas um restaurante para se tornar muito mais que isso, qualificando-se como uma excelente experiência.

I went without expectations... Well organized and clean terrace, in a mythical location. The day helped, a lot, with the lunch with a group of friends in this very pleasant space, which I started with a fresh mocktail. Of the various starters ordered, with nothing to point out. We ordered the Ribbon, cooked for several hours, it was tasty and tender. The cream, very original. It exceeded expectations.

It's a magnificent space, it always has been, but now, with the new management, it has also become a very good restaurant: the food was wonderful and the service was fantastic. We were a large group, we tried many things on the menu, and I can say that the conclusion was unanimous: a very, very good lunch.
